Oliver Hudson is reprising his role as Wes Gardner in next week’s episode of “Scream Queens.”

In the trailer for Season 2, Episode 8, titled “Rapunzel, Rapunzel,” Wes gets cozy with his old flame Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis), who is more than happy to see him again.

According to the synopsis for the episode, a man from Dean Munsch’s past (Wes) checks in to C.U.R.E. Institute to win her back, causing a jealous Dr. Holt (John Stamos) to question his relationship with Chanel (Emma Roberts). Wes’ arrival also intensifies the tension between Dean Munsch and Chanel, who are both vying for Dr. Holt’s attention.

“Dr. Brock Holt is my man,” Chanel reminds Dean Munsch in the trailer.

“Enjoy it while it last,” Dean Munsch replies, much to the medical student’s annoyance.

Wes was a main character in Season 1 of “Scream Queens.” He was a professor of Introduction to Film Analysis at Wallace University, where Dean Munsch also previously worked. He is Grace’s (Skyler Samuels) dad and is also the biological father of the Red Devil siblings Boone (Nick Jonas) and Hester (Lea Michele).

Wes was last seen in the two-hour Season 1 finale of the FOX comedy-horror series, in which he seduced Dean Munsch to give Grace and Zayday (Keke Palmer) an opportunity to go through the school files of the surviving Chanels, who were all suspected to be the Red Devils at that time. Apparently, that game of seduction led to a real romance between Wes and Dean Munsch. Their relationship, however, was cut short when Wes decided to leave Wallace University to give Grace her own space to grow up.

Elsewhere in the upcoming episode, Zayday and Chamberlain (James Earl) devise a plan to discover the origins of the Green Meanie killer, only to find out shocking results.

“Scream Queens” Season 2, Episode 8 airs on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
