“Scream Queens” Season 2 premieres tonight! And while fans are excited to finally go back to the campy pastel world of the FOX series, there are a couple of things they should be worried about regarding the upcoming installment.

When Season 1 ended, Red Devil team leader Hester Ulrich (Lea Michele) managed to get away with all the murders she had committed at Wallace University. With clever planning and superb acting, Hester was successful in framing Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts), Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) for a number of killings they were not responsible for.

The Chanels were arrested and later sentenced to life in a mental asylum. Although Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) knew that the three were innocent and that Hester was the real killer, Munsch didn’t come forward and tell the truth because doing so would only put herself in danger.

At one point after the Chanels were sent to the asylum, Munsch threatened to turn Hester in to the police to bring justice for those who were murdered. In retaliation, Hester threatened Munsch by responding that they should just both move on with their currently happy lives or else she’s going to turn Munsch in as well for killing her own ex-husband, Steven Munsch (Philip Casnoff), and for covering up the murder of Sophia Doyle (McKaley Miller), Hester’s mom, back in 1995. Munsch quickly accepted Hester’s offer, and they parted ways as if the conversation never took place.

In Season 2, Episode 1, titled “Scream Again,” Munsch will purchase an abandoned hospital under the guise of fixing the healthcare system in America. As it becomes fully operational, secrets from the hospital’s past begin to reveal themselves, and a new killer surfaces. And since secret murderers Munsch and Hester are coming back in the new season, both characters are instant suspects for the show’s new whodunit mystery.

“Scream Queens” Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
