Massachussetts Sen. Edward Kennedy was wheeled out of the Capitol on Tuesday after becoming ill during an inaugural lunch for President-elect Barack Obama, according to reports.

Kennedy was wheeled out on a stretcher by medical staff and taken away in an ambulance.

It looked like a seizure, said Sen. Orrin Hatch who was with Kennedy until they reached the ambulance, according to the Washington Post.

Kennedy was diagnosed last year with a cancerous brain tumor after suffering a seizure.
