"Eleven years," Williams said during the trophy ceremony, in French. "I think it's unbelievable. Now I have 16 Grand Slam titles. It's difficult for me to speak because I'm so excited."
She is currently world No. 1 for the sixth time in her career, making her the oldest female in the top spot since computer rankings began in 1975.

This sighting first sparked speculation that the two were an item. The pair have since been seen together, mainly in Paris, where Williams also has a second home.
