Seven US Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan's Bloodiest Day In Months
Seven U.S. soldiers were among 35 people killed in southern Afghanistan on Sunday, an ISAF spokesman has confirmed.
The deaths were the result of a series of road side bombs and violent clashes with insurgents and mark the bloodiest day in Afghanistan in months.
The incident occurred as foreign nations meeting in Japan promised to provide Afghanistan with $16 billion in civilian aid over the next four years, as NATO troops gradually withdraw.
