‘Shades Of Blue’
Will Nate’s (Cameron Scoggins) second lease on life repair his relationship with Wozniak (Ray Liotta) in “Shades of Blue” Season 2? NBC

Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 10 recently confirmed that Wozniak’s (Ray Liotta) son, Nate (Cameron Scoggins), is alive.

In the previous episode, Nate was shot in the chest by an unknown character while he was at his home with his dad and the latter’s team. Nate was rushed to the hospital after Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) called the station for help. In “Whoever Fights Monsters,” Wozniak told an unconscious Nate that he will do everything he can to make sure his son will survive. Now that Nate is alive, it is unclear whether or not Wozniak will keep his promise of becoming a changed and better man.

Harlee, Tess (Drea de Matteo) and Espada (Vincent Laresca) found one of the suspects who shot Nate bleeding outside a veterinary clinic. When they asked him what happened, he told the trio that it was his cousin who asked for his help in targeting Wozniak and his crew. The suspect’s cousin also received orders from a group who hired him to do their dirty work for them. Unfortunately, when Harlee, Tess and Espada got a lead, they also discovered that all the members of the group who shot Nate have already been killed.

Elsewhere, Stahl (Warren Kole) was suspended from his post, and while he wasn’t busy doing anything, he decided to find something that he can use against Wozniak and Harlee. Stahl knows what Wozniak did to Saperstein (Santino Fontana) in the previous season. Wozniak killed him, and Stahl wants to find proof of what he did. When he dug Saperstein’s grave, Stahl was shocked to find it empty as his body was no longer buried there. It was later on revealed that Wozniak learned of Stahl’s plan, and he decided to take matters into his own hands.

While at the cemetery, Stahl found a tooth and wanted to had it tested for Miguel’s (Antonio Jaramillo) DNA. The latter was also killed in the finale episode for Season 1 by Harlee herself. At the time, Miguel tried to rape Harlee for the second time, so she made sure this won’t happen to her again. She struck Miguel on the head, and he died on the spot. As of late, only Wozniak knows the truth about what happened to Miguel, but Stahl has been suspecting that Harlee killed him.

Meanwhile, Harlee and James Nava (Gino Anthony Pesi) have finally reunited. The two previously decided to end their relationship after Nava realized that Harlee is not good for him. Ever since they got together, a series of unfortunate events happened to Nava. Most recently, his ex-fiancée, Caroline (Mimi Michaels), was shot dead. But it seems that Nava has already set aside his anger towards Harlee. He visited her and Cristina (Sarah Jeffrey), and the three of them had dinner together. Nava and Harlee also ended up sleeping together, and their late-night rendezvous prevented Harlee from learning that Stahl broke into their home and took hair from Cristina’s brush.

“Shades of Blue” Season 2 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
