‘Shadowhunters’ Season 2 Spoilers: Clary, Jace Reunite In Episode 16 Amid Shocking Sebastian Reveal

“Shadowhunters” Season 2, episode 16 will see Clary (Katherine McNamara) reuniting with Jace (Dominic Sherwood) after their controversial kiss in episode 14.

In “Day of Atonement,” the two characters will go on an unsanctioned mission to test out their newfound rune powers. This comes after it was revealed in episode 15 that Sebastian (Will Tudor) is actually Clary’s brother. Elsewhere, Simon (Alberto Rosende) holds a family dinner for Yon Kippur or the Jewish Day of Atonement. However, Simon will struggle with coming clean about being a vampire since his family has just gone through so many hardships.

Luckily, Maia (Alisha Wainwright) will volunteer to help Simon out with the preparations. The former knows that if Simon cannot control his urges, his vampire nature might be exposed. At first, Simon will say no to Maia’s attempts at helping him. But he eventually gives in when he realizes that his problems are too difficult to deal with on his own.

In the teaser released by Freeform for episode 16, Simon is still very much concerned about Clary, but Maia will convince him to not think about her for the moment. In the clip, Maia also flirts with Simon and kisses him on the cheek. In episode 15, Simon forgave Clary for kissing Jace, especially since she said that it didn’t mean anything to her. However, he also asked Clary for some time away from each other.

Elsewhere in the clip, Jace and Clary are shocked to discover that the latter has other powers. But when they start using them, the two find out that the powers are very hard to control. Alec (Matthew Daddario) will also tell Clary that there’s something wrong with Jace in the upcoming episode.
