It’s that week of the year where everyone second-guesses their beach vacation plans. It’s Shark Week! Discovery Channel’s biggest programming event of the year is in full swing, and the new specials will continue to premiere on Tuesday night. City dwellers will be especially interested in the July 25 programming block. The specials will explore how sharks are affecting cities and how they might affect them in the future. Check out the Shark Week primetime schedule for Tuesday night:

8 p.m. EDT — “Great White Serial Killer Lives: Sharkopedia Edition”

Get even more shark knowledge from Sunday’s special as Sharkopedia shares extra fun facts. This Shark Week program, produced by Shark Entertainment, was filmed in October 2016 for a very specific reason. A beach in California has had shark attack victims every two years in October since 2008.

Dr. Michael Domeier believes that this is a pattern, not a coincidence. Could the same shark be attacking every two years? Will the finned fish return in 2016? Shark experts Ralph Collier and Cal Lutheran will help Dr. Domeier. They’ll use DNA techology and satellite tags to figure out the killer shark’s identity.

9 p.m. EDT — “Sharks And The City: LA”

Sharks aren’t just in exotic locations. The number of great whites along the coast of Los Angeles has been growing, but strangely, they seem to be hunting out of season. Dr. Chris Lowe, Director of the CSULB Shark Lab, will investigate, and his search for answers will take him to Guadalupe Island, off the coast of Mexico. The special, produced by Arrow Media, will reveal why L.A.’s shark population has increased.

10 p.m. EDT — “Sharks And The City: New York”

Seals have returned to New York harbor, and that might foreshadow the return of sharks. Although the number of them in the area has been declining for decades, the seals could be a hint that great white sharks are about to return. Marine biologist Craig O’Connell will attempt to find out when they might return. The Shark Week program, produced by Pangolin Pictures, also “shows what a future with great whites in New York will look like,” according to a press release.

The title isn’t the only “Sex and the City”-inspired reference in the program. Discovery tapped Chris Noth, who played Big on the HBO hit, to narrate the “Sharks and the City: New York.” It’s safe to say there will fewer romances in this Shark Week special.

11 p.m. EDT — “Shark After Dark”

Eli Roth continues to host the official Shark Week after show. A man who knows after shows all too well will join Roth. Comedian Chris Hardwick, who hosts “The Talking Dead,” will appear. “Shark After Dark” is also welcoming “Girls Trip” actress Regina Hall. Hardwick and Hall will meet with marine biologist Craig O’Connell as they “weigh in on the battle between east and west coast sharks,” according to Discovery. They’ll also take a look at some viral shark videos and reveal the truth about them.
