As it turns out, superheroes are about to take over the mobile tech world. We have seen Iron Man themed high-end Samsung and Sony smartphones in the past. Recently, we reported that a Batman themed Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge variant is in the offing. And now, it looks like, LG will be releasing the LG X series of smartphones based on X-Men series.

Speaking of release date, the LG X smartphones will reportedly hit the store shelves starting July. These special edition handsets will be made available for purchase in Europe, the U.S. and Latin America, ZDNet reported.

LG introduced the X Cam and X Screen series at the Mobile World Congress 2016 event. Apparently, this series will get a complete makeover with superhero effect, thanks to X-Men characters. It is safe to assume that the LG X lineup will flaunt X-Men themed back panel, characteristics / functionality and wall papers, among others.

To be specific, the new LG X Power and LG X Style will apparently get the makeover of Professor X (known for long lasting power) and Mystique (known for fabulously flawless looks), respectively.

The LG X Cam and LG X Screen, on the other hand, will get the following themes respectively: Cyclops (known for extraordinary vision) and Nightcrawler (known for being agile and swift).

Other than the four LG X phones mentioned above, the South Korean tech giant will also release two more devices namely LG X Max and LG X Mach. These devices will be based on Beast (known as big beauty) and Quicksilver (known for extreme super peed).
