Blake Griffin will not defend his crown in the 2012 NBA Slam Dunk Competition, but there are some quality contestants looking to win the title.

Timberwolves rookie Derrick Williams will take on another former Arizona Wildcat star as Chase Budinger of the Rockets competes for the first time. They are joined by other first-time participants Paul George of the Indiana Pacers and Jeremy Evans of the Jazz.

Evans replaced Knicks' guard Iman Shumpert, who is injured.

The competition takes place at 8:30 Eastern time on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Amway Center in Orlando. TNT will have coverage of the contest.
