Reality-TV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi shed 42 pounds gained during her pregnancy and recently shared some workout tips with fans.
The former “Jersey Shore” star who now has her own MTV spinoff, “Snooki & JWOWW,” showed off a toned, post-pregnancy body and photos of her workout regime on Twitter this week. To get back in shape, Polizzi said she's been “living at the gym” and does dance workouts to Adela's "Toast to the Good Life" album.
Polizzi, the mother of 10-month-old Lorenzo LaValle, continually raved about her personal trainer Anthony Michael. She even showed off some serious muscle by lifting weights, flexing her arms and rolling a rubber tire roughly the same size as her petite 4–foot, 8-inch figure.
Polizzi first showed off her slimmer figure during a bikini photoshoot in March, telling US Weekly that she chose to quickly lose the baby weight for fear that her fiance, Jionni LaValle, 25, would “run away” if she didn’t.
“I basically try to go to the gym all the time and train with my trainer and do cardio as much as possible,” said Polizzi, who dished that her favorite form of cardio has been the Zumba “Buns and Guns” class. "Even though I’m busy with Lorenzo all the time, I still want to look good for Jionni [because] I don’t want him to run away from me forever.”
Polizzi shot down criticism that her current size is unhealthy and said on her Celebuzz website page Thursday that her transformation also involves healthier eating. She even offered fans advice on how to shed weight. “… Just know you really have to work hard to achieve your end goal. Don’t give up!” she encouraged them. “Trust me, it feels so good when you get there!”
