From Gay Babadook to Blinking White Guy, 2017 has seen its fair share of classic memes come and go. Folks in The Netherlands are dealing with heavy snow by participating in the newest viral sensation, the “snowface challenge.”

It is pretty simple: Find a deep bundle of snow, make the best facial expression you can and stick your face into it to make a funny imprint. It probably does not feel good, but likes and retweets are worth it, as far as its biggest proponents are concerned. The snowface challenge has gone viral on Facebook and Twitter, with the #snowfacechallenge hashtag heavily populated with people taking it on.

People who live in places with snow like that are encouraged to go out there and give the #snowfacechallenge a shot.
