Sony has released a multiplayer demo of Naughty Dogs’ Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception at the E3 conference and provided kiosks for two teams of four on each to try out the game against each other.

The multiplayer version of the game has been released with enhanced set of characters that look different from the single-player version. Characters like Nathan Drake, the chief antagonist, can be modified with different clothes and items.

The levels have also been worked upon which highlight several modifications over the earlier version -- Uncharted 2. Different sets of camouflages and covers along with some environmental features have been included and the selection of weapons has been made more balanced.

In the multi-player version, hidden bonus awards have been included which can be unlocked with every kill. Cash awards and medals have been added for headshots and near-death kills. The enemy can also be marked and dealt with now.

The game’s multiplayer beta version for PlayStation Plus subscribers will begin on June 28 and will be accessible for those whose accounts were not hacked. Others will find the game in Sony’s ‘Welcome Back’ offer from July 5 and the offer will end on July 13, the company said.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be officially released on November 1.
