Sony has confirmed at the E3 that its upcoming 'God of War' compilation series will be launched globally on September 13, 2011.

The collection will feature titles like 'God of War: Chains of Olympus' and 'God of War: Ghost of Sparta', both PSP award winning projects on a single Blu-ray disc.

The games will be released after they are completely enhanced and re-mastered in 1080p and stereoscopic 3D and will also support the full PlayStation Network trophy feature, it said.

Gamers using the Dualshock vibration-feedback gamepads will be set to benefit as the company has assured bonus content that will include DLC contents from the 'Ghost of Sparta' edition which will be called 'Game Directors Live' roundtable video and 'Legionnaire Kratos' and 'Forest of the Forgotten', the PlayStation Universe website reported.
