The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is reported to be under construction, so the rumor mill is buzzing about features that may arrive on the device. As of this writing, Samsung has not said anything about the Galaxy Note 4 successor -- but the new model will likely be unveiled at the IFA tech trade event in Berlin in September. The Galaxy Note 5 rumors reveal that a slew of new and improved features are coming onboard the device. Here is a list of top expected features:

Design

According to the Inquirer, Samsung will not be using the Galaxy Note 4 design on the Galaxy Note 5. Like the Galaxy S6, the Note 5 will boost premium design by featuring a combination of aluminum and glass.

Display Size And Resolution

Phone Arena claims that the Note 5 will come with a 5.89-inch display and the Note 5 dual-edge screen model will house a 5.78-inch display. Both will support an ultra HD screen resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The Note 5 and Note 5 Edge will support a pixel count of 762 ppi and 748 ppi.

Processor

Sam Mobile claims that the Galaxy Note 5 will come onboard with Exynos 7422 chipset. It is referred to as ePoP chip, which is nothing but an all-in-one chip that features the processor, graphics, 3 GB of RAM, storage and RAM. Rumors have it that Samsung is testing Exynos 7430 chipset, but it is unclear whether it will power up the next Galaxy Note model.

Android Version

The most recent version of Android is the 5.1.1 Lollipop. However, at the forthcoming Google I/O event, the Android M (or Android 6.0) will be showcased. Hence, the Note 5 may feature the Lollipop 5.1.1 or higher version or the new Android M OS.

Camera

According to Know Your Mobile, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature come with a 16 MP shooter on the rear side. The front will be housing a 8 MP camera.

Galaxy Note 5 Edge Or Note Edge 2

Another report from Sam Mobile states that the Samsung is working on “Project Zen” which is nothing but successor model of the Galaxy Note 5. The device will not be a variant of the Galaxy Note 5 in terms of specs

The Note 5 Edge or Note Edge 2 will not be a high-end device but it is expected to feature a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED dual-edge curved screen, a Snapdragon 808 chip housing a hexa-core processor, a S-Pen stylus, native storage of 16 GB, 16 MP camera enabled with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 8 MP selfie camera.
