Known for her master tailoring and feminine aesthetic, Joanna Mastroianni presented a show-stopping collection at New York Fashion Week. The architecture of Gaudi inspired her form0fitting, sexy and seductive collection for spring 2014. Beaded floor-length gowns sashayed down the runway next to flirty, short party dresses, and loose sheer kaftans in bold prints.

Her collection was cohesive, strong and modern as she created looks for the fearless woman. Black and white was the strongest colors on the palette, but in true Mastroanni form, bright colors and intricate beading also walked the runway in the form of stunning red carpet gowns.

Moments before the show began, Mastroianni spoke to IBTimesTV about what inspired her collection and what’s next for her label.
