“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” may introduce a new female fighter pilot who works for the Resistance. A new report includes details about the pilot and a scene of the character with C-3PO and R2-D2 that may be featured in the movie. [Spoiler alert]

Jason Ward of MakingStarWars, who has been a reliable source for many of the leaks about the movie, has revealed a scene involving a character called Jessika Pava. The character is described as an X-Wing fighter pilot and the scene is said to be in a rebel base.

According to the report, Jessika will meet C-3PO and R2-D2 and notes that they are very old and that one of the droids has a red arm replacement. The pilot apparently gets excited about knowing that the droids belong to Luke Skywalker, who is said to be the “best pilot the galaxy has ever seen.”

The report notes that the people in the planets aligned with the Resistance forces would know about the “legend” of how Luke [Mark Hamill] defeated the Emperor and Jessika knows about this too. It is not clear from the report whether this scene is from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” or if it’s a spoiler from one of the prequel comics or novels from the franchise.

Another report by MakingStarWars confirms that the forthcoming movie will introduce the “hot shot” pilot Jessika. Her call sign is said to be “Blue Three” and the report includes her helmet symbol.

Many new novels are set to be released that tell the story about what happened just before the timeline in the movie. The official “Star Wars” website recently gave a sneak peek of what some of these novels are about. Some of the books focus on what happened after the death of the Emperor and how the Imperial forces rallied together to counter the threat posed by the Resistance forces.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is slated to be released on Dec. 18. The movie is directed by J.J. Abrams and the cast includes Oscar Isaac as the X-Wing fighter pilot Poe Dameron, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, and the original films' stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.
