State Controller Publishes Government and State University Payroll Figures

State Controller John Chiang, who caused a stir two weeks ago when he denied lawmakers pay until the budget was resolved, has updated the salary database with pay and pension benefits for state employees and California State University workers.

Compensation data for 256,222 California employees and 123,406 California State University workers was updated with information such as minimum and maximum salary ranges, retirement formula, benefit payments, etc.
