Stock futures pared gains on Thursday after weekly jobless claims data were higher than expected.

Financial shares rose in pre-market on hopes leaders at the G20 meeting underway in London will agree on ways to temper the economic crisis.

S&P 500 futures rose 13.70 points and were above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 102 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures added 22.50 points.
