U.S. stock index futures trimmed gains on Thursday after a host of data including weekly initial jobless claims, producer prices for June and the New York Federal Reserve Bank's manufacturing activity index.

S&P 500 futures rose 2.4 points and were above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 17 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures added 7.5 points.
