Meanwhile, Kevin Durand, who plays former rat exterminator Vasily Fet, has been kind enough to share numerous behind-the-scenes photos of Season 4. The shooting takes place in Toronto, Canada.

One photo on Instagram shows Durand posing with his stunt double. Another video shows him and Ruta Gedmintas, who plays his character’s love interest Dutch Velders, celebrating the approaching weekend. Even actors love #TGIF.

A funny photo posted by the 43-year-old actor shows him striking a pose with Richard Sammel in a blonde wig. Sammel plays The Master’s right hand man Thomas Eichorst on “The Strain.”

Gedmintas also posted some set photos. Oh, how we miss “The Strain”!

To quickly refresh, Season 3 ended with The Master claiming Stoneheart CEO Eldritch Palmer’s (Jonathan Hyde) body after Quinlan (Rupert Penry-Jones) decapitated his previous host, Bolivar (Jack Kesey). This not only ensured that the strigoi leader has a new body but also helped him learn the location of the second nuclear bomb.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather’s (Corey Stoll) son Zack (Max Charles) had the world’s worst tantrum ever after his father killed his vampire mother in self-defense. He trigged the explosion of the second nuclear bomb that resulted in strigois finally walking in broad daylight.

“The Strain” Season 4 premieres in 2017.
