On Oct. 1, LG launched a unique smartphone called the “V10.” This power house of a device comes bundled with cutting-edge configurations, along with a unique secondary ticker display showing notifications for easy access. The tech giant has uploaded a video promo of the LG V10, highlighting the stand-out features of the new handset.

The first video promo of the LG V10 runs for two minutes and it portrays the handset as a premium device. In the video, LG uses a new word called “groufie,” which translates to a “panoramic selfie” or a “group selfie.” Going by the popularity of “selfie,” in no time, the new entrant “groufie” should be part of the dictionaries.

Furthermore, the LG V10 video also highlights the three directional microphones, complete with an interface to adjust them as required. The icing on the cake, however, is the umpteen camera-related features housed in the device. There is a high-quality digital-to-analog conversion option, along with auto-editing feature for shot clips captured via the housed camera and the now-ubiquitous optical image stabilization (OIS) support, Phone Arena reported.

Speaking of LG V10 specifications, the handset comes with a huge 5.7-inch display, aided by 1,440 x 2,560 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset and backed by a phenomenal 4 GB of RAM.

When it comes to memory specification, the LG V10 comes equipped with a whopping 64 GB of built-in storage space, in addition to the expansion capacity of up to a cool 2 TB with the help of microSD card. The highlight of the handset is the new secondary ticker screen, which displays notifications and can also be used for multitasking.

The V10 sport a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera unit and a generous dual 5--megapixel front-facing snapper with the capability to capture 120 degree wide angle selfies. Phone Arena said that LG has apparently made use of a unique algorithm to merge the photos captured via the dual-lens. Hence, there is no need for the device owner to move the camera side to side, instead, the dual-lens helps in getting the perfect wide angle short. This also means, there is no need to pack a selfie stick while going for a long vacation to picturesque locations.
