Mon-El is back in next week’s installment of “Supergirl.”

According to the synopsis for Season 3, episode 7 of the CW series, Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and the DEO discover an alien ship that has crash landed deep underwater beneath National City. Kara (Melissa Benoist) is called to investigate the ship, which is the same ship seen for the first time in the season premiere and reappeared in Season 3, episode 4.

In the trailer for next week’s episode, Kara is shocked when she sees Mon-El (Chris Wood) on the ship. Kara is overjoyed to be reunited with Mon-El, but it doesn’t take long before the Girl of Steel realizes that Mon-El is no longer the man she knew before.

“Is it not you?” Kara asks Mon-El.

When the Prince of Daxam says that it’s him, Kara beggingly replies: “Then, make me believe it.”

“It won’t be the reunion you expect. It’s pretty mysterious,” Benoist told Den of Geek US earlier this month of the first meeting Kara and Mon-El after he escaped Earth in the Season 2 finale.

Apparently, the mysterious feel to the reunion may have something to do with the fact that Mon-El has changed a lot since he left Earth. “He’s going to be a very different Mon-El than what we saw last year, largely due to the whole mystery surrounding where he went and what he’s been doing,” Wood teased to TV Insider last month. “It definitely affects him. He’s been somewhere, doing something.”

“They’ve sworn me to secrecy on specifics,” Wood continued. “But there’s going to be a big change in him when he comes back [and] that worries the team.”

Elsewhere in the next week’s episode, J’onn (David Harewood) attempts to bond with his father, M’yrnn (Carl Lumbly). Meanwhile, Samantha (Odette Annable) — who is eager for some understanding of the changes she has been experiencing — looks to her estranged mother, Patricia Arias (Betty Buckley) , for answers.

“Supergirl” Season 3, episode 7, titled “Wake Up” airs Monday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. Watch the trailer below:
