The CW’s “Supergirl” has released the first official photos of Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor — and by the looks of it, Lex Luthor’s sister will be having business with Kara (Melissa Benoist) and her cousin Clark (Tyler Hoechlin).

McGrath is set to make her series debut as Lena in the Season 2 premiere, titled “The Adventures of Supergirl.” Based on the promotional photos for the episode, Kara and Clark are visiting Lena’s office at Luthor Corp. While the purpose of Kara and Clark’s visit to Lena is unclear at this point, it may have something to do with her brother’s recent incarceration and her appointment as the new CEO of their family’s billion-dollar-tech company.

When TVLine broke the news of McGrath’s casting last month, the news outlet reported that the character arrives in National City hoping for a fresh start following her brother's imprisonment. As the new CEO of Luthor Corp, her mission is to re-brand the firm as a force of good after its reputation was tarnished by Lex. Lena — who wants to be seen as her own person, separate from his brother — meets Kara, who must determine if the new National City transplant is a friend or a foe.

McGrath, whose notable TV acting credits include Chiller’s horror anthology series “Slasher” and NBC's horror drama “Dracula,” is one of the new actors joining the CBS-turned-CW series for its sophomore run. Other series newcomers are Hoechlin, Lynda Carter (U.S. president Olivia Marsdin), Ian Gomez (Snapper Carr), Floriana Lima (Maggie Sawyer), Chris Wood (Mon-El) and Sharon Leal (Miss Martian)

On the film side, McGrath recently appeared in “Jurassic World” and will be next seen in “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword,” which opens in theaters on March 24, 2017.
