Lois Lane may be coming to “Supergirl” soon.

Speculations that Lois will be appearing on the CW series surfaced after Omega Underground uncovered what appears to be a recent audition tape of actress Sarah Ceballos for the role.

In the minute-long clip, titled “Sarah Ceballos ‘Lois Lane’ Audition,” Ceballos as Lois is asked by a reporter to describe her relationship with Superman. “If I had a dollar for every time somebody asked me that question I’d be a millionaire,” Lois jokes. “But my relationship with Superman is completely unpredictable, I never know when I’m going to see him, he’s always in and out-of-town. But that is also the fun part about it is that I’m constantly being kept on my toes and surprised. So I’m hoping one day — and honey if you’re hearing this — I’m waiting for that rock on my finger.”

Lois also gushes about Supergirl. When asked what it’s like to meet the Girl of Steel, Lois answers, “Supergirl is very down to earth. She’s kind and I think that it’s great that young ladies today have somebody to look up too. Especially, given the fact we continuously hear of these predators, are coming into the forefront and harassment being a big issue. I think it’s important they have someone to look up too.”

Although it isn’t confirmed that Ceballo’s video is really an audition tape for Lois for “Supergirl,” Omega Underground reported that a casting call for the role has possibly gone out for either the end of Season 3 or for Season 4.

While Lois has yet to appear on “Supergirl,” the character has already been mentioned several times on the series. As fans of the show know, Lois is an award-winning reporter of the Daily Planet and the girlfriend of Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) cousin Clark Kent/ Superman (Tyler Hoechlin). Lois is also the estranged daughter of Sam Lane (Glenn Morshower) and the older sister of Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan-Tatum).

If Lois ends up appearing on “Supergirl,” then it’s likely that fans may see Hoechlin play the Man of Steel once again. While there are currently no plans for Superman to return to series, Hoechlin told IGN last May that he would love to play the iconic role once again if the opportunity comes up.

“I’d love to see more about what his relationship with Kara and the rest of her family,” the actor told The Hollywood Reporter in the same month when asked what he’d like to explore about his character when he returns to the series. “I think it could be fun to see exactly how much he’s kept up with them over the years. And the Superman/Martian Manhunter (David Harewood) thing is such a fun story arc. And with Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) too, there’s still a lot to explore with him and James. Obviously they have the greatest history of anybody on the show, so... now that he’s doing his thing; it would be interesting to see how Clark and Superman feel about what James has been up to [as Guardian].”
