What will happen when "Supernatural" returns for Season 10? CW

Quiet on the set, please! The folks of Loyola University had to keep their voices down to a whisper on March 25 and 27 when the “Supernatural” spinoff, “Bloodlines,” decided to shoot scenes from its upcoming series on the campus of the Chicago school.

“’Supernatural: Bloodlines’ is filming at my campus. This is not a drill [sic],” a sophomore at the college wrote on Tumblr. The student snapped several pictures of the cast and crew filming for the series premiere, which will make its debut on Tuesday, April 29 as a backdoor pilot during “Supernatural.”

The set photos gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect when the pilot episode airs. According to the pictures taken, “Supernatural” lovers will get to see Nathaniel Buzolic sporting a casually cute khaki ensemble for the first episode.

“Nathaniel Buzolic filming a scene for ‘Supernatural: Bloodlines’ at Loyola University Chicago,” the student wrote, adding a video of the actor’s scene. In a quick summary of the fan-taken video, we basically had the pleasure of seeing Buzolic running up and down the stairs of Dumbach Hall a bunch of times. At least we know he’s in good shape!

For those who aren’t up-to-date with their “Bloodlines” news, Buzolic, who is no stranger to The CW, will be taking on the role of David Hayden, a shapeshifter from one of Chicago’s ruling monster families, according to Entertainment Weekly. A “Bloodlines” press release gave fans a more in depth synopsis of what Buzolic’s character would be doing in the new supernatural drama.

“SAM AND DEAN INVESTIGATE MONSTER FAMILIES IN CHICAGO – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a case in Chicago, where they discover that various mafia-esque monster families are, unknown to humans, running the underbelly of Chicago. One is a family of shapeshifters run by Margo Lassiter (guest stars Danielle Savre), whose leadership is thrown into question when her brother David (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) returns home.”

According to the story’s plot, Hayden has no desire to indulge in the family business, which is why he has taken up living a “human” lifestyle in the windy city. Perhaps one of the ways Hayden acts more human is by attending college. That could explain why he was running out of Loyola University.

But that’s not all the “Supernatural: Bloodlines” scoop we have for you! In addition to the set photos, a picture was leaked online by SpoilerTV of what the possible logo could be for the spinoff. The “Bloodlines” emblem went the minimalistic route as it kept things simple. Bold, white letters spelled out the spinoff’s name as blood dripped from the bottom of each letter. Chilling!
