Supernatural season 10 spoilers
Charlie (Felicia Day, right) will reunite with Dean (Jensen Ackles, left) and Sam (Jared Padalecki, center) in Season 10, episode 11 of "Supernatural." CW

Flying monkeys and green-faced witches will be the least of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) problems when Season 10 of “Supernatural” returns on Tuesday, Jan. 27. According to the synopsis of “There’s No Place Like Home,” the Winchester brothers will be faced with something much more evil in episode 11 ... Charlie (Felicia Day).

When viewers last saw the “Hobbit” loving character, she was happily skipping off into the Wizard of Oz with Dorothy (Tiio Horn) -- even after Dean had warned her of the dangers that could be lurking beyond the yellow brick road.

“Promise?” the thrill junkie responded before entering the supernatural world.

After the gateway to Oz was sealed shut, Dean questioned whether or not they would ever see Charlie. “Of course,” Sam responded. “There’s no place like home.”

And it looks like Sam was right. In episode 11 Charlie will be making her return to the world she left behind in Season 9. But when the boys reunite with their old friend, they’ll notice that something is a little different with Charlie – and we’re not referring to her sweet new haircut.

“What the hell happened to you in Oz?” Dean asks in the promo video for next week’s installment as Charlie holds a knife up to an old woman’s throat.

“Everything I wanted,” she replies.

So, what might have changed Charlie in the mystical world of Oz? “Supernatural” EP Jeremy Carver teased Day's character's evolution to TVLine. “Charlie definitely comes back from Oz somewhat different — and that’s an understatement. Things happened. And typically, what happens in Oz, stays in Oz, but not this time. It’s all coming back. Suffice to say, we’re going to see a Charlie that has been substantially changed,” he said, leaving us on the edges of our seats.

But that’s not all we know about Charlie’s return. When Days' Season 10 return to “Supernatural” was first reported, it was teased that the red headed adventure seeker would be bringing back something “very dangerous” with her to the real world.
