Swiss International Air Lines that operates as an independent carrier is Switzerland’s principle airline and widely acclaimed for its “staff service excellence” in whole of Europe. A subsidiary of German flag-carrier Lufthansa, it operates in Europe and provides flights to North America.
According to the airline, the new application will allow them excel further in services. It does not seem preposterous as the application further allows users to check itinerary details, travel plans, compare fares and flight availability, book flights and call up the latest arrival and departure information. Users can also check in and select their seat 23 hours before departure by using the SWISS app from their iPhone.
Additional information such as baggage allowances, in-flight services, and locations for and details about SWISS lounges, as well as access to Twitter feed for the latest flight, airline and weather updates and alerts can be also accessed through the new application, the airline informed.
