As President Donald Trump nears his 100th day in office, rapper Talib Kweli doesn’t appear to be content with what the commander-in-chief has done so far as president.

Walking through the Los Angeles International Airport, the “Get By” rapper was stopped by TMZ and asked how the Trump administration had affected Barack Obama’s legacy. “I think it’s made people understand the bar is set way lower for white people,” Kweli said.

“Trump can be mediocre, he can even be a failure,” the rapper continued. “Obama had to work so much more harder than everyone else. He had so many more obstacles in front of him than Donald Trump had. And he still was called ‘a monkey.’ He was still called ‘a liar’ to his face.”

Kweli went on to say that there is still a racial divide in the country and said America got payback by electing Trump after having a black president in office for eight years.

While the hip-hop artist is upset with Trump, he still had some advice for him. “My advice is that America is great. Not because rich, straight white men who have always been in power make it great. America’s great because of diversity.”

Talib said the president needs to learn about marginalized communities. “You have to learn about Jewish people, Muslims, women, black people, gay people... People who are gonna be further marginalized in Trump’s America. He should reach out to those communities and listen to those communities.”

The rapper has previously been outspoken against the president, calling Trump “a very stupid man” during a December interview with Vlad TV. “He’s not a smart man. He is a spoiled brat. He was coddled. He’s very fragile… He might be the most spoiled, fragile rich white dude on the planet. He’s the poster boy for rich, white fragility,” said Kweli.
