Tamar Braxton and her husband Vincent Herbert stepped out together wearing matching costumes to celebrate Halloween with their young son, Logan. The cute family photo came months after Braxton and Herbert were plagued with rumors of a divorce.

The “Love and War” singer took to Instagram Monday to share a photo of her dressed up as Dr. Seuss’ Thing 1 and Herbert as Thing 2. Their son was a very adorable Cat in the Hat. A few days before Halloween, the “Braxton Family Values” star shared another costume photo of her and husband dressed up as peanut butter and jelly. “He’s the peanut to my jelly,” she wrote in the caption.

Shortly after Braxton’s drama with “The Real,” the singer and reality TV star was hit with rumors that her marriage was falling apart. In August, it was reported that Braxton and Herbert allegedly got into an altercation which ended with Atlanta police being called. Sources told LoveBScott.com that the incident happened at the Ritz Carlton hotel, where they had been staying.

The outlet reported that Braxton had gotten into an argument with her spouse and that things allegedly turned physical and he bit Braxton on her hand “so badly that he drew blood.” At the time, Bossip wrote that the argument was over Braxton supposedly firing Herbert as her manager.

In a 911 call that was released, a friend of Braxton’s told the operator that police needed to come to the hotel because of “domestic dispute between Vincent Herbert and Tamar Braxton.” The caller went on to say that Braxton claimed that Herbert had bitten her finger. Herbert left the hotel before police arrived, and was never arrested for the incident.

During a July interview with Entertainment Tonight, Herbert addressed rumors his marriage was crumbling, telling the outlet that he and his wife were “totally fine.” He added: “When God blesses people, there are always people who are going to try to tear them down.”
