Tamar Braxton has expressed gratitude toward her boyfriend David Adefeso for saving her life and called him an “angel.” The artist praised her boyfriend a few weeks after she was hospitalized for attempting suicide.

Taking it to Instagram, the 43-year-old TV personality shared how lucky she is to have a guy like Adefeso in her life and she did not want to let “another second” go by without thanking her love for “saving her life.”She also noted that it’s the only reason why she was using the platform again because she would have strayed far from the photo-sharing app until she gets better.

“I came here just to say this and then I'm logging off. If you have ever been in recovery or treatment you know that you reflect on a lot of things. So I couldn't let another day, another second go by without PUBLICLY Thanking my Love @david.adefeso for saving my life,” Braxton wrote on Instagram.

The “Pieces” hitmaker also explained how “grateful” she is to have him and she knows how difficult it would have been for him to see her in that kind of condition. However, she is really disturbed by the way people have been saying “crazy stuff” about him following her hospitalization.

“I'm so grateful. I was in our home lifeless & I'm sure finding me the way that you did couldn't have been easy. But know that people coming at you saying all this crazy stuff, isn't easy for me,” she wrote.

The acclaimed singer also shared that Adefeso has always been there for her even when she was not feeling well. She also insisted that her boyfriend and son Logan are her “priority.”

“People have called you every name in the book, to deflect from what's really been going on. Through this entire time, you have held my hand, heard my cries, held me when I have been weak. You have had my ENTIRE back‼ I will not allow anyone to call you controlling or 'that's that African man' like I don't have a mind of my own, cause without THIS African man, I simply would not be here. YOU and Logan are a priority. Thank you for being my Rock and now, my angel on earth. I love you,” Braxton wrote.

The “Braxton Family Values” star concluded her post by saying that her life would have not been the same if Adefeso was not by her side.

Her message comes a few days after she revealed that her troubled professional life was the main reason for her mental health struggles. She said that she had been “taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid” for over a decade.
