Taylor Swift is riding high right now, with the success of her "1989" album and her campaign to get Apple to change its policy on royalty payments to artists. But despite these achievements, there’s still something that the pop singer wishes to have: her own family.

E! News reports that Swift recently told ITV News that she hopes to have a spouse and children soon. The singer was responding to ITV's question about where she expected to be in 10 years. Swift also admitted to being worried about protecting her potential children because of her fame. She even praised Angelina Jolie for being able to raise her family under the spotlight and being active in humanitarian causes.

Just a year ago, Swift had a different idea in mind when it came to family and kids. She told InStyle that she was unsure she wanted children. "It's impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies," Swift said.

Swift also predicted she’d still be single at age 30, and told the Telegraph last month that she’s apprehensive of meeting someone willing to be under the spotlight like she is, saying, “Let’s be honest. No one’s going to sign up for this and everything that goes with it. Like, 'Hi, nice to meet you, want a date? Do you love camera flashes? I hope you do!' I don’t know what’s going to happen if I’m ever content in a relationship -- no idea how that’s going to work. I don’t even know if that’s possible with the life I have.”

But Swift seems to be singing a different tune now, especially with boyfriend Calvin Harris by her side. In recent months, the two have been spotted getting sweet and cozy together. Harris even posted a congratulatory message on Twitter for Swift’s Apple success, writing, “I just played a gig inside a giant owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry. what a day,” Entertainment Weekly reported.

Swift is currently on the European leg of her "1989" concert tour. Harris had revelers dancing during the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas over the weekend.
