Taylor Swift's anticipated "...Ready For It?" music video emerged online Friday, but not without a deeper investigation from superfans. They got to see the 27-year-old singer take on a cyborg version of herself in the Joseph Kahn-directed high-tech music video filled with clues in typical Swift fashion.

Swifties managed to discover several hidden clues Swift's sci-fi world, which serves as the second video to come from the singer's "Reputation" album. The clues theorized by fans in either made reference to her former self and her current self, among other aspects.

Swift Hints At Relationship With Joe Alwyn

Swift hasn't directly confirmed her relationship with Alwyn, despite the singer's friend and occasional collaborator Ed Sheeran, saying Thursday: "He's really nice. Really, really friendly, really good dude."

Swift sneakily referenced the British actor's birth year, 1991, beside her own. The two years were slyly painted on the wall behind her. She's also seen typing the number "21" into a keypad, which fans alleged is a reference to Alywn's birthday, Feb. 21.

Swift References Her Snake Side

Fans took the time to decode the Chinese graffiti painted along one of the walls, which is said to reference "The Year Of The Snake." Swift has been deemed as a snake by many social media users for her involvement in a feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

A snake was also depicted crawling along Swift's face at the video's beginning.

Swift Rides A White Horse

A curly-haired, cyborg version of Swift is depicted riding a white horse. The last time fans witnessed the singer on a white horse was in the "Blank Space" music video. Many fans believed this to be an apparent reference to the "old" Swift — a girl famous for singing about her bad relationships with men. A lyric in "Blank Space" reads: "Got a long list of ex-lovers, they'll tell you I'm insane."

The white horse also references a breakup song from Swift's album "Fearless," titled "White Horse." A lyric from the song reads: "I was a dreamer before you went and let me down. Now it's too late for you and your white horse to come around."

Swift Teases Potential Future Song Titles

Fans decoded the graffiti painted on the walls, which they allege appeared to be potential new song titles for her sixth studio album, "Reputation." Findings included "I loved you in secret," "all eyes on us," "they're burning all the witches" and "this is enough."

The phrase "ur gorgeous" makes reference to Swift's third single from "Reputation," which is titled "Gorgeous."

Swift Sneakily References Calvin Harris

Many fans interpreted the lightning to be a jab at her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris. It has been confirmed that Harris and Rihanna's song "This Is What You Came For" was written by Swift, but she used the fake name "Nils Sjoberg." The lightning references the single's cover art.

"Initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym," Harris tweeted July 2016.

Swift Frees Herself

The naked, cyborg version of Swift was trapped inside a glass box for a large portion of the music video. She eventually breaks free and destroys the hooded version of herself, who wears all black. Fans interpreted this moment to be Swift freeing herself from the media's representation of her.

Swift even screams what appears to be "jailer" to showcase her feelings of imprisonment.
