This week is all about teachers. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Day/Week 2015, dozens of retail locations and restaurant chains nationwide -- not including Chipotle and its free burrito giveaway, much to the dismay of teachers everywhere -- are offering free and/or heavily discounted products to educators on May 5. Below are 12 businesses participating in this year's celebration. Keep in mind that most locations require teachers to provide a valid teacher ID or other proof of employment.

RESTAURANTS

Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A's teachers week deals vary by location and are valid only at participating stores. Some locations are giving away one free item per day through May 8. The free items range from an iced coffee to a Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuit. Other stores have restrictions on the free menu items and are serving free items only during breakfast hours. Find the Chick-Fil-A location nearest to you here.

Teachers can get a free combo meal on Tuesday at participating PDQ locations. The free meal is limited to one per person and can include three-piece chicken tenders, a sandwich or a salad.
