“Teen Mom 2” star Corey Simms is engaged.

Simms is probably one of the best-liked fathers on the show. He seems to really love his girls and want to be with them as much as possible, and it broke viewers' hearts when he confronted his wife about cheating on him right before the wedding.

But the days of the Corey Simms-Leah Messer drama seem to be over for good. Corey's father broke the big news when he sent out a congratulatory tweet to his son and future daughter-in-law, Miranda Patterson, on Twitter.

The third season of “Teen Mom 2” has been a little confusing when it comes to Leah and Corey’s story, considering viewers are watching Simms and his now ex-wife Messer (the mother of his two twin girls) go through a divorce.

Devoted “Teen Mom” fans know this is old news, especially because Messer has already begun another marriage of her own. The star has been married to Jeremy Calvert since June and is currently pregnant with his child.

It only seems right that Simms finally gets to find a little happiness for himself by proposing to his girlfriend Patterson, especially since Messer made it clear that she had moved on from Simms sometime ago.

She doesn’t seem to harbor any bad feelings towards her ex either. After finding out about the news, Messer took to Twitter to wish the newly engaged couple the best.

In fact, the newly remarried Messer sees it as a way for her daughters to have four wonderful parents in their lives instead of two.

Messer retweeted a post from a “Teen Mom 2” fan:

“congrats to @CoreySimms2 & @mirandabridget on their engagement! now #AliAleeah have 4 wonderful parents! @TM2LeahDawn & @Calvert505T”

Messer and Simms seem to have matured and just care that their twins Aliannah and Aleeah are happy and healthy.
