“Teen Mom 2” viewers may notice a slight change to the show’s format when the series returns for Season 6. Following the success of “Teen Mom OG,” MTV is reportedly allowing the cast of the second “16 and Pregnant” spinoff series to also break the fourth wall during production with their producers and camera crew, Ashley’s Reality Roundup is reporting.

While it's unclear how often the “Teen Mom 2” cast will break the fourth wall — an industry term, which in this case, refers to when the talent makes the audience aware they know they're filming a reality show — the site reports that multiple sources have confirmed the show’s stars, Chelsea Houska, Leah Calvert, Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans, will do so “to at least some degree" in the forthcoming season.

Despite “Teen Mom OG” stars Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Farrah Abraham interacting with their MTV producers several times throughout the course of one episode, insiders say the “Teen Mom 2” cast hasn’t filmed so freely with the "OG" team's new format. “Camera crews will be shown to some extent, although it will likely be more prevalent in some girls’ storylines, and take a lesser role in others,” reported the site.

So what's the need for the style change? According to one of the site’s sources, the old format, which acted as if the stars were not living their lives in front of a camera crew, is no longer valid thanks to the success of “OG.”

While viewers will have to wait awhile before “Teen Mom 2” airs its new season — “Teen Mom OG” only has two episodes under its belt — some of the cast’s rumored storylines have been revealed. So what will Jenelle, Kailyn, Leah and Chelsea be up to next season?

Jenelle and her baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, are said to be sharing details about their engagement on the series. Their fight in March, which resulted in Nathan’s arrest for criminal domestic violence, was also reportedly taped for the show. But Jenelle’s love life will not be the only one taking center stage. Chelsea’s romance with new boyfriend Cole DeBoer will also be shown, Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports.

And that’s not all! Hold onto your remotes “Teen Mom” fans, because Leah’s marriage drama with Jeremy Calvert will also reportedly be addressed. Leah is said to have rejoined the show in December after announcing on Twitter one month prior she was parting ways with the series, seemingly for the best interest of her three daughters. “I hope my girls continue to move on with TM2. I wish them the BEST,” Leah told fans when speaking out about her co-stars.

Not much is known about Kailyn’s storyline other than she will be shown attending the 2015 Grammys.
