Amber Portwood was uneasy about breaking the news of her second pregnancy to her family.

Portwood recently revealed that she was afraid her family would not approve of her having a baby when she wasn't married to the father of her child. "I was nervous," the "Teen Mom OG" star told Us Weekly of telling her family about her second pregnancy. "Obviously it's non-traditional. Usually, parents want you to be married first and things like that. But you know me, if I didn't do things the way I did, I wouldn't be me."

Portwood added that she has no regrets over her second pregnancy. In fact, she's happy about her second child with boyfriend Andrew Glennon, and their families have been very supportive and excited after they found out. "They ended up being very excited and happy for us, so it all turned out well," the 27-year-old reality star said. "Andrew just told his family as well and they're very happy for us."

The MTV personality confirmed her pregnancy on Nov. 3. According to Portwood, she was "a little scared" when she learned that she was expecting another child, but it didn't take long for her to realize that it is a blessing.

"When I first found out, I was a little scared. I just kind of sat down and thought about it and realized that it was a big step in my life and it was a good thing actually," Portwood said. "After the initial shock, it was nothing but happy thoughts and just enjoying my time with my boyfriend."

After breaking her pregnancy news via Us Weekly, the reality star also announced it on Instagram. Portwood shared a photo of a beach with the words, "we're Pregnant," written on the sand. "Thank you everyone for all the kind words I'm very excited for my future with Andrew and our little family we are starting together! Love always," she wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, Portwood and Glennon have been dating for about four months. They were first spotted getting cozy with each other in August. A few weeks later, they confirmed their romance and made their debut as a couple at the 2017 MTV VMAs red carpet.

Just like any other couple, their relationship has been far from perfect. Their bond was recently tested when Portwood learned that two of Glennon's exes filed for restraining orders against him. "This is jeopardizing our relationship, which tears my heart," Glennon told Radar Online of the incident. "She is still processing. Right now everything is up in the air."
