Saving Stiles might not involve going to the Ghost Riders’ prison. On last week’s “Teen Wolf,” the Sheriff remembered his son. He can recall everything about Stiles (including his real name), and for a brief moment, he thought he saw Stiles through some sort of portal. The key to saving Stiles seems to be remembering him. In Season 6, episode 9, that’s exactly what the pack will try to do.

“While Liam and Theo act as decoys, Scott, Lydia and Malia enact a desperate plan to try and remember Stiles,” the synopsis for the MTV drama reveals.

Theo (Cody Christian) isn’t necessarily a willing decoy. In the sneak-peek video below, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and the former villain aren’t exactly getting along. Liam decides to think like Theo for a minute. “I’m gonna do exactly what you would do to me. I’m gonna use you as bait,” Liam says. He’ll have to work fast. The Ghost Riders are coming.

At least they’ve distracted the horsemen. Scott (Tyler Posey) and Lydia (Holland Roden) will be convincing Malia (Shelley Hennig) that they’ve found a good way to remember Stiles (Dylan O’Brien). As usual, anything effective is going to come with risks for pack members. Their method is the machine that Parrish (Ryan Kelley) was seen in. It’ll freeze them, putting them in a trance like state. The promo video for episode 9 makes it seem like the plan could work. Lydia is seen looking into a bright light, much like the one the Sheriff saw. “Stiles?” she asks. The trailer doesn’t give away any answers, though.

The title for “Teen Wolf” Season 6, episode 9 is “Memory Found.” Will Stiles be the memory that is found? It seems like there is a good chance. After all, the episode where he was taken by the Ghost Riders is called “Memory Lost.” It seems appropriate for his return to have the opposite title. Of course, nothing is confirmed about when Stiles is expected to return.
