Just two days after being released from house arrest “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is sharing a sneak peek of her prison memoir. The book, titled “Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again,” promises to tell her whole life story — from humble beginnings to reality stardom and her time spent behind bars for fraud charges.

Teresa, 43, released an excerpt of her book to People magazine Monday. In it, she shares the heartbreaking story of the night she reported to prison. The “RHONJ” star wrote about breaking the news that she was leaving to her children, telling fans that it was a tear-filled evening. Teresa recalled gathering her four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, Audriana and Milania Giudice — along with her husband Joe Giudice for one last group cuddle. She said that after being told that that night would be her last with them, each of the girls began to break down. Teresa, Joe and Gia did their best to quell the sobs of the younger Giudices, but their efforts were futile.

“But as I held my girls and kissed them on their cheeks and on their foreheads, I started to get mad. Instead of having more time with my babies, I had to leave for prison in the middle of the night while they were sleeping – because of the paparazzi. This is how bad things had gotten. This whole thing was totally out of control. How had it come to this?”

This is the second look fans have gotten at “Turning the Tables.” The first came on Feb. 1 when it was reported that Teresa’s book had leaked. According to the New York Daily News, which was able to obtain a copy of the memoir, the book includes no shortage of details on the “RHONJ” star’s prison stay. Teresa wrote about being strip searched, the many hookups that took place inside her cell and the frequent fighting that went on in her cell block. She claimed that she “wanted to die” during her incarceration, but said thoughts of her hubby kept her going. While the women around her went “gay for the stay,” Teresa attempted to keep the spark in her marriage alive by sending sexy cards to her man.

“Turning the Tables” was confirmed in October 2015. Jennifer Bergstrom, a publisher at Gallery Books told People the tell-all would give readers a new, never before heard or seen on television look into Teresa’s life. Bergstrom promised the book would include “all of Teresa’s incredible life story,” but shared no further details.

The book will be released Tuesday. Teresa is doing a book signing in New York City in celebration. Based on her recent tweets, it appears she has chosen a few lucky fans to attend the signing with her.
