Monday night’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars” ended with Terra Jolé being sent home one week before the Season 23 finals. The “Little Women: LA” star took to Instagram following the elimination and posted a very sweet message about her experience on the ABC competition show. Terra also thanked her partner, Sasha Farber.

“This picture pretty much sums up how special this dance journey of love has been for me on @dancingabc,” she wrote in the caption of a picture of her and Sasha hugging. “Entering this competition was a crazy whirlwind of unexpected emotions. Insecurities I never knew I had evolved and all along @sashafarber1 helped me overcome while conquering so many special dances. I am forever grateful for #dwts for letting me be a part of this show.”

She added: “Thank you to all of the fans that believed in us and voted. We hear you and loved your support! Your support made us top 5 and semi finalist! I will never forget this adventure. I love you Sasha and I love #dwts family! Make it the best finale ever!”

Farber also had some kind words to say about the Lifetime reality star, writing on his Instagram page that he was “so happy” he was partnered with Terra. “I’m so proud of you. You’ve moved mountains, and all of America watched with me as each week we saw you shine like the star you are. You really took my breath away tonight. I’ve never met anyone like you,” he posted.

Sasha went on to say that dancing with Terra helped him become a better person and dance teacher. “I’m so lucky I got you as my partner,” he shared.

On Monday’s show, each of the couples had to perform two dances before host Tom Bergeron announced who was being sent home. For the first round, Terra and Sasha danced a rumba and for their second routine, they asked previously eliminated pro dancer Artem Chigvinstev to join them for a trio.

Although the judges were impressed with both dances by Terra and Sasha, they were sent home.

The “Dancing With the Stars” finale kicks off Monday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
