Not everyone spends Thanksgiving in the kitchen. If you’re looking to skip the cooking and the dishes this year, there are plenty of restaurants open on Nov. 23, 2017.

Sports fans might want to celebrate with some Thursday night football. Hooters, TGI Fridays, Applebee’s and Brick House Tap and Tavern are all open for business Thursday and will definitely have all three Thanksgiving games on TV.

Many of those restaurants will have turkey options, but those who want their usual game day wings or pizza can order off the regular menu. Takeout options include Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Papa John’s, but only some locations will be open.

If you’re not a football fan and just looking to eat out on Turkey Day, plenty of sit down restaurants will be open for Thanksgiving 2017. Chains that are open include Bob Evans, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Boston Market, Cracker Barrel, IHOP, Denny’s, Marie Callender’s Restaurant and Bakery, Ruby Tuesday, Sizzler, Waffle House, Old Country Buffet, Golden Corral, Buca di Beppo and Morton’s The Steakhouse.

Several restaurants will have special meals to celebrate Thanksgiving. Check out a few meal options below:

Ruth’s Chris Steak House — A three-course Thanksgiving dinner, which starts off with a choice of soup, salad or gumbo and ends with pumpkin cheesecake and ice cream, is available for $39.95 per person.
