In Baltimore, almost half of all restaurants are offering Thanksgiving staples to their customers, the largest proportion of any city in the whole country, according to an analysis of restaurant menus by Grubhub, an online takeout and delivery site.

Seven of the top 10 cities with the largest proportion of restaurants offering Thanksgiving staples were on the East Coast, according to the analysis, and three of those seven were cities in New York.

The cities that made it to the top from other regions were Fort Worth, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Chicago, Illinois.

Pumpkin pie, stuffing and gravy see huge spikes in the volume of orders places on Thanksgiving day, according to an analysis of orders placed in previous years. However, there are several very non-Thanksgiving foods that also see a spike on Thanksgiving day -- chicken tikka masala, naan and tiramisu.
