Tom Cruise has no plans to make the Church of Scientology bigger than the British Royal Family and is not trying to “dethrone” Queen Elizabeth II, Gossip Cop said debunking a report by the National Enquirer. The news comes just after reports surfaced that Katie Holmes’ ex-husband is planning to move to the Scientology headquarters in the United Kingdom after selling his London house.

According to the National Enquirer, the actor is willing to spend millions to transform Scientology’s U.K. headquarters at Saint Hill into a palace.” A source told the tabloid that Cruise was tired of continuously being “snubbed by the royals.”

Cruise is “obsessed” with the royal family but the queen is “totally unimpressed” with the 53-year-old actor, the source told National Enquirer.

“Tom’s investing a lot of his own money back into the church, and secretly the talk is how they want to topple the royal family,” the source, who is close to Cruise, reportedly said. “It might sound like a deluded dream, but with bottomless cash and ongoing renovations they believe that, in time, Saint Hill will overshadow Buckingham Palace.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying that Cruise has no plans to “topple” Queen Elizabeth II.

While Cruise is busy with his efforts towards Scientology, rumors surfaced that Holmes got engaged to Jamie Foxx. Holmes and Foxx sparked dating rumors after the two were seen wearing similar wedding bands on their ring finger earlier this year. The couple has not addressed their rumored relationship amid fears that the news could drive Cruise “crazy.”
