  • Tom Cruise was photographed smiling while looking at Kate Middleton at Wimbledon Saturday
  • The Duchess of Cambridge wore a canary yellow Roksanda midi dress for the women's final
  • Cruise spent time with Middleton and Prince William in May when they attended the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere in London

Kate Middleton garnered plenty of attention from her fellow attendees at Wimbledon Saturday — including Tom Cruise.

The "Mission: Impossible" star, 60, and the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, were both seated in the Royal Box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club during Saturday's women's final, but Cruise was a few rows behind Middleton.

At one point, Cruise was photographed smiling while looking at the duchess, who sat courtside wearing a stunning yellow dress, Page Six reported.

The royal paired the canary yellow Roksanda midi dress with Kiki McDonough Eden citrine and flower drop earrings and Gianvito Rossi white leather pumps for the outing.

It was the third time Middleton wore a yellow dress to the tournament. She also donned the color in 2016 and 2018, the outlet noted.

Middleton also previously wore the the Roksanda dress in Jamaica during her and her husband Prince William's royal tour of the Caribbean earlier this year.

After Saturday's match, Middleton presented trophies to Elena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur. Rybakina became the new ladies' singles champion after winning 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, earning the Rosewater Dish, Us Weekly reported.

This was the first time a tennis player from Kazakhstan won a Grand Slam singles championship. Rybakina, 23, also became the youngest player to nab the Rosewater trophy since 2011, according to the outlet.

Cruise's sighting at Wimbledon came months after Middleton and Prince William joined him at the premiere of his film "Top Gun: Maverick" in London in May.

Middleton arrived in a black-and-white Roland Mouret gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline, while her husband looked dapper in his classic tuxedo.

During the event, Cruise held Middleton's hand to assist her as they walked up the stairs into the theater, receiving praise from royal fans and social media users.

"The moment he's been waiting for. Can't blame him, she's worth it. Tom is so lovely. Always the gentleman," one Twitter user commented at the time. Another added, "I don't care for, or about, Tom Cruise's religious beliefs, but I will say this: he is always a gentleman and never forgets for a second how to behave in public."

The premiere also served as a fundraiser for The Film and TV Charity, which supports the people working behind the scenes of TV and film productions in the U.K.

Ahead of the couple's arrival, the action star spoke about his and Prince William's shared interest in flying.

"[Prince William and I] have a lot in common. We both love England and we’re both aviators, we both love flying," Cruise told the reporters at the time.

Prince William was noticeably missing from Saturday's match, but he and their eldest son Prince George, 8, joined Middleton in the Royal Box to watch the men's final between Nick Kyrgios and defending champion Novak Djokovic Sunday. Djokovic won the match 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).
