Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his wife Candice Crawford have welcomed a baby boy, Hawkins Crawford Romo, into the world, according to reports.

Romo and Crawford announced the birth, which took place on Monday, through the Dallas Cowboys public relations department.

Hawkins Crawford Romo is now a part of the Dallas Cowboys family, said team spokesperson Rich Dalrymple in a statement. He came into this world on 4/9/12 at 5:30 p.m., 8 lbs. and 8 oz. All is well with his mom.

Romo, 31, and Crawford, 25, got married in May 2011 and announced the pregnancy in October.

Romo is a three-time Pro Bowler with a 96.9 career passer rating. However, the much-maligned quarterback has led Dallas to only a single playoff victory in six seasons as a starter.
