The BlackBerry PlayBook may not have made a name for itself as yet, but it still provides a few entertaining games that are guaranteed to keep you hooked on to your tablet for hours.

Assembler Mobile 2 HD: Assembler Mobile 2 HD is an engrossing puzzle game where players try to arrange blocks of different sizes and shapes in certain structures to raise one key block into precise positions that will differ with every level. The game uses PlayBook’s accelerometer to perceive the way the player is holding the tablet and the gravity changes accordingly when the user flips the PlayBook.

Pixelated: The aim of this game is to just turn a screen filled with squares of various colors into a single solid color form. The Visitor: A one-of-a-kind “interactive horror adventure” where you play as a dangerous and a creepy alien parasite who becomes a terror for human beings. Your aim is to get larger and more dangerous with every successful move. The game contains cartoon violence and gore and is free.

DoodleBlast: DoodleBlast is a simple yet addictive game. The levels have been made competitive enough to keep you hooked on. The challenge of the game is to draw lines with a very limited supply of ink to safely direct the suspended balls above the obstacle course into a bin at the bottom of your PlayBook. The game is free.

Hangman: A classic word-guessing game on your PlayBook. You will have the option to choose from a variety of subject and themes where your secret words will be generated. The graphics isn’t exactly what you expect but the gameplay is addictive.
