I expect that this voice assistant will quickly make its way into laptops and desktops as well. Apple’s competitive advantage is widening by the day,” Jason Schwarz, an Apple follower and investor said. Apple is likely to add 1GB of RAM to the iPhone 5 in order to accommodate the voice assistant.

3. iCloud

With iOS 5 comes iCloud, the iPhone 5 users are allowed to store their music, photos, apps, and contacts on the cloud and push them to a number of wireless devices. Bundled with the basic iCloud service is Photo Stream, which allows users to store 1,000 photos on the iCloud servers for free.

4. A5 processor

It is widely assumed that Apple will fit the iPhone 5 with the same A5 chip that powers the iPad 2, a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore processor. According to Apple, the legendary A5 processor provides twice the CPU performance and nine times the graphics power of its predecessor, the A4 processor. Obviously, under major horsepower provided by this dual-core chip, the iPhone 5 should be able to run more apps.

The iPhone 5 is anticipated to have a 4-inch retina display. A curved glass display screen is also possible which offers more privacy in public. Apple may implement Quantum Dot LED technology, which requires less power than OLED screens, yet offers the same quality. With that in mind, the Quantum Dot LED technology could be a possible system for the iPhone 5.

6. Sleeker, Bolder Design

Apple has always led the field in hardware design, though the Android phones have been quick to adopt and improve upon Apple’s innovation. In addition, a liquid aluminum material rather than glass, would perfectly increase durability and cut down on the iPhone 5’s weight.

7. 8-Megapixel Camera

A dual-LED flash unit, separated from the camera sensor, would also be a reason the iPhone 5 get popular. Like some of the current high-end smartphones, It is likely to feature a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video conferencing.

8. Bigger Memory

Apple will increase the capacity of the RAM memory storage of iPhone 5 to 1GB. The ROM can also be upgraded since both the iPad 2 and iPod Touch boast 64GB of memory. A 64 GB ROM can be very possible for iPhone 5.

9. 4G Compatibility

Rumors said there is high possibility of the iPhone 5 being available on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
