With Apple getting ready to take the wraps off the next generation iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5, on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at its Cupertino headquarters, iPhone fans can't help but guess what features the latest iteration of the world's single most popular smartphone will boast of.

1. iOS 5

The upcoming iPhone 5 is expected to feature Apple's newest mobile operating system version: iOS 5. Apple has promised 200 new features of iOS 5, including Twitter and iCloud integration, new apps like iMessage, Newsstand, and Reminders.

2. Complete Voice Control

This is Apple’s hole-in-one. “We’re also born with the ultimate communication tool-our voice-and iPhone is about to create the most revolutionary user interface in the history of technology (emphasis added). Apple’s competitive advantage is widening by the day,” Jason Schwarz, an Apple follower and investor said. Apple is likely to add 1GB of RAM to the iPhone 5 in order to accommodate the voice assistant.

With iOS 5 comes iCloud, the iPhone 5 users are allowed to store their music, photos, apps, and contacts on the cloud and push them to a number of wireless devices. 4. A5 processor

It is widely assumed that Apple will fit the iPhone 5 with the same A5 chip that powers the iPad 2, a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore processor. According to Apple, the legendary A5 processor provides twice the CPU performance and nine times the graphics power of its predecessor, the A4 processor.
