Americans viewed 4.6 billion video ads in the month of May which adds up to a totally of 2.0 billion minutes, says comScore, a digital business analytics website.
At 1.3 billion, Hulu generated the highest number of video ad impressions and 560 million million minutes of ad duration. followed by Tremor Media Video Network with 700.8 million ad views.
Next in line are Adap.tv with 642 million and BrightRoll video Network with 565 million.
83.3 percent of the American audience viewed the videos online, with an average online video ad at 0.4 miniutes and average online video content at 5.2 minutes.
12.6 percent of all videos viewed were video ads.
