(International Business Times) - Toyota Motor Corp. will double Camry sedan production capacity at its joint venture with China in the province of Guangzhou to 200,000 units by the end of this year, according to Reuters.

Japan's largest automaker will increase the staff at Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co. to 3,500 from 2,100. The company, which just started its operation late May this year, reported brisk sales of Camry but did not specify figures.

The upgrade will bring Toyota's total output capacity to 443,000 units a year in China. In 2007, the automaker plans to produce 693,000 units, including the cars from new plants to be constructed soon.
