Now that Caitlyn Jenner is living publicly as a woman, her children have had to find new ways to bond with her. Stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, for instance, was able to find common ground with the 65-year-old in their mutual love for a popular series.

“Transparent” creator Jill Soloway recently revealed that she and the 34-year-old reality star have “had great conversations” about the show. Soloway told Us Weekly both Kardashian and Jenner are big fans of the show -- in fact, they often tune in together. She also said she'd been inspired by Jenner’s story and hoped to incorporate her or her coming out into the series. Jenner’s been given an open invitation to visit the set and appear on the show any time she’d like.

“I don’t know if she would even want to act, but we definitely want to incorporate the fact that she came out into this season,” she said. “Just to have that be a part of a conversation somewhere in a scene, for sure.”

Soloway isn’t the only one hoping Jenner will consider making a cameo in the show. As we previously reported, many “Transparent” cast members are crossing their fingers they’ll get to star alongside the former Olympic athlete. Actress Melora Hardin gushed about how “incredible” Jenner was during the show’s For Your Consideration event June 1. She added that the show “should try” to nab her as a guest star.

Although she hasn’t responded to the cast or showrunner’s requests to make an appearance, Jenner will be headed to TV soon. As we previously reported, E! has announced that the transgender former Kardashian patriarch will be receiving her own 8-episode documentary series titled, “I Am Cait.” The show follows Jenner as she embarks on her journey to live as a female.

“I Am Cait” premieres Sunday, July 26, at 9 p.m. EDT.
